A month ago we became Elevate Technology Solutions. The name is new; the team, the workshop and the 45-year commitment to Geelong are exactly the same. Here is what the change means — and, just as importantly, what it does not.
Why we changed
For more than four decades we have been the local partner Geelong businesses turned to for reliable print and technology. Over that time, what we do has grown well beyond where we started — managed IT, cyber security, cloud, web and secure document services now sit alongside our long-standing print and copier heritage. The new name reflects the full breadth of what we deliver today, and where we are heading.
The old name told part of the story. It spoke to where we began, but not to the modern technology partner we have become. “Elevate” captures the intent behind everything we do: to lift the businesses we work with, to raise the standard of local service, and to keep moving forward rather than resting on four decades of history.
The thinking behind the name
A name is a promise. “Elevate” is ours — to elevate your technology so it simply works, to elevate the level of support you can expect from a local partner, and to elevate the outcomes your business gets from the tools it relies on every day. The tagline that sits beneath it, “smarter technology and stronger business,” is the shorthand for that promise.
Our values were written into the rebrand from day one: people focused, innovative solutions, integrity always, stronger together, and elevating possibilities. They are not wall decorations. They are the test we hold every decision against, from how we answer the phone to how we quote a job.
What has not changed
Everything that matters. The same local team answers the phone. The same technicians who know your equipment still turn up. We remain Australia's longest-standing Kyocera partner, with the same workshop and the same commitment to fast, honest, local service. If you have worked with us before, you will notice the logo — and very little else.
Our ABN, our people, our phone number and our workshop are all unchanged. Existing agreements, service arrangements and account contacts carry across exactly as they were. There is nothing you need to do, and nothing about the way we look after you that has been disrupted by the change of name.
What is new
The rebrand comes with an expanded set of services under one roof: tiered managed IT, cyber security aligned to the Essential Eight, cloud and Microsoft 365, secure legal document services, and website design and hosting. The idea is simple — one local partner for everything that runs on a screen or a sheet of paper in your business, on one bill, with one number to call.
For our print and copier customers, that means the same trusted devices and servicing now sit alongside a full technology offering, should you ever need it. For businesses who have only known us for one part of what we do, it is an invitation to see the rest. Nothing is pushed; everything is available when it is genuinely useful to you.
What the first month has told us
The response from our customers and the wider Geelong community has confirmed what we hoped: people value a local partner who shows up, tells them the truth, and stays for the long term. That is the standard the Elevate name is built to carry, and it is the same standard we have held for 45 years.
In the first month we have had existing customers ask us to look at their IT, not just their print. We have had new businesses reach out because they wanted a local alternative to a faceless national provider. And we have had suppliers and community partners get behind the change. Every one of those conversations has reinforced that there is real appetite in the region for a technology partner who is genuinely local and genuinely accountable.
The same local commitment, a bigger promise
Geelong is not a postcode on a map to us. It is home. It is where our team lives, where our workshop sits, and where our customers run their businesses. The move to Elevate does not change that grounding; it deepens it. A broader set of services means we can support local businesses through more of their challenges, without them having to look to Melbourne or further afield.
Being different by choice is at the heart of it. We choose to answer the phone. We choose to send a technician who knows your gear. We choose to give honest advice even when it means recommending less, not more. That choice is what the new brand is built to protect as we grow.
Thank you
To every customer, supplier and member of the community who has supported the move — thank you. We are proud of where we have come from and genuinely excited about what is ahead. If there is something we can help your business with, whether it is print, IT, security or a new website, we would love to hear from you.
